How to Press Release a Software?

I was wondering what medium should i take to make my software known in the market? Since Buy Sell trade of BHW and BHT isn't allowing for free, is there any other mediums in the net to release my product? Help Much Appreciated. Thank you!!

Just post on forums, and places like digg, or reddit, etc. If the software is decent the word will get out very quickly. In all honesty though with the amount of traffic this forum gets, and the amount of buyers that are here as well. It would be rather silly of you not to have a BST here on BHW. If the software works and works well, you could be potentially looking at thousands of dollars worth of sales just on this forum alone.

Not sure what type of software you have but you could find gurus or bloggers in that niche and contact them. Perhaps you could get them to write about it or even send a blast out to their list.
I am assuming you have a platform to sale from and can track affiliate sales to give commissions and such.

well i had posted it on Black hat team but my post got deleted, well i definitely want to post here because 99% of my like minded are here but the problem is to post here i need some box which i currently don't have but when i have i will release here paying some because this is an ultimate forum and no doubt majority of my sales will go through this forum. naaahhh i can write myself no big deal and blast my links to any guestbook(for now bellabook, ricar and phpbook) since our tool breaks captcha itself we don't need third party captcha tools. For now i just wanted my beta version to be used by all for that i need to press release anywhere i can possibly find!! Thanks for your suggestions!! Good day!!
