Did I waste my money?

I finally got around to buying Article Marketing Robot and The Best Spinner for my seo strategies. I was basing it off of an old training I bought that recommended spinning and submitting like crazy. I've just read that due to updates that doesn't work anymore. Did I waste my money?

I have been doing a lot of research on "the backlinking strategy that works" which deals with tiers and still uses the spinner and AMR. Is it the consensus that this strategy still works? Where I'll use great content for my anchors and spun/auto submitted content for my second tier.

Do you have GSA? You can use AMR on tier 2 and tier 3 links for faster indexing.

Both these tools are great and must to have. They still work and TBS will always come in handy for any software you buy in future. AMR is also good but you have couple of alternatives available out there. In any case, AMR is not an outdated tool and you can use it effectively if you have custom list with you.

Spinning articles are not very effective but if you use unique and fresh content every time then it will gives you more benefits.

How much you get out of each tool will depend on the list you use in AMR and the quality you spin using The Best Spinner.

If you have a good list and spin well, you did not waste your money.

Based on this part of your comment, I'd say that you did not waste your money. Why else would you have bought them, other than using them for tiers?

I'm pretty sure that you can find some good stuff in Matt's topic regarding the subject so check it out. There was also another topic with the same subject but I can't find it in any of my bookmarks.

I think Best Spinner is not a waste of money even though I don't have it (I manually spin everything) but it can help you save lots of time by using it. Oh, and buy GSA SER and you're done

Thanks a ton for all the answers. I will be searching in here for the best uses for each and will get my money's worth. Is purchasing directory lists a smart move or should I get scrape of when I can?

It depends. I would scrape by myself (I prefer having more control). If you purchase, you will have to find those with reputable service in here.

And if you have money to invest, go for GSA, I'm currently in trial and I find it amazing for a simple, straight forward software.
