I just signed up to sell my product on paydotcom. Has anyone used this before? Do you have any ideas for getting affiliates to sign up? I have several tools Pligg, etc. Are there other/better sites to try to get affiliates other than the insanely expensive and difficult to get into commission junction?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

have you tried clickbank? im eager to know how u r going to get more affiliates too.

I was testing the PDC payment gateway once, and for every test spend I made, I refunded my money back to myself. I was testing with $3 just trying to get some paypal scripting to work. Anyways, to my surpise, even after refunding all my money, I noticed that my APS went up and remained that way. I am thinking there is something to this that may, in the end, attract more affiliates because, like in clickbank, gravity (APS) is a good indicator of a good product.

I use them and they bring me a lot of traffic for my digital product. Once you sell throught their gateway once your product will show up in the marketplace. Also be sure to use something like Paydotcom Guard to protect your product.

I'm currently using PayDotCom for a product. I have a bunch of affiliates, but no one is really performing, so the trick is to get good affiliates. Sniper's suggestion is a good one (I've asked him for the specifics of how to perform a test).

One thing I did (that I learned here) is to set your price to $1, have a different PayPal account perform the purchase, then set the price to what it should be. This ensures that it shows up in the marketplace right away.

To do the test spend, you need someone else's paypal account, because you can't purchase from yourself. But really, that's it. Just use their account, purchase through your PDC link. refund the money. APS goes up.

I followed the advice of putting the price to $1.00 and placing an order to try and get my product listed in the PDC marketplace (it says it can take up to 24 hours). Thanks for the tip!

I would like to say that it WILL work, but I will say instead that in most probability it will most likely work. It used to work, so why not now?

Looking for Affiliates were offering 50% rounds about $20.00 per buy advertising a 7,000,000 download product and counting :) We are the Reseller for MalwareBytes Anti Virus 1.34 coming soon to clickbank or we might do our own affiliate.

So I tried the 1.00 trick and my card got charged just fine, but I'm still not listed in the PDC marketplace. So... no affiliates yet and I am not sure where to go from here with this one. PDC (paydotcom) has a nice user interface but so far has been a dud for me.

it takes 24 hrs to get into marketplace. i did the $1 payment yesterday, and today the product can be found in the marketplace.
