Recently we found there are something abnormal for Google rank and get to know yesterday the Penguin 2.0 is coming, and there are three points will effect blackhat seoer a lot as follow:

1. The sites who buying links and selling links will both get penalty .

2. The old sites of non-good links will be get involved even only use white-hat promotion seo in the past.

3. Social Bookmark will be get less juice than before.

Other update is waiting for your adding and try to find out together a solution to makes our site get the pins from Google...

Don't panic. The basic concepts remain the same even after the 10.0 update i.e Getting links from high PR sites/pages. This can be overcomed by smart linkbuilding. Maybe the web 2.0s will loose slight value but there will be other ways to game the system.

Iv been hearing that web 2.0s will lose some value, why do you and others think that?

I'm seeing it mentioned a lot too. Probably crappy web 2.0s that look like auto generated crap will lose value.

I don't think google would penalize an authority web 2.0 backlink, or even one that has 20+ unique posts, internal activity, articles linking to other/no sites, actual PR on the subdomain, etc.

They might try to hit sape or other russian networks.

I had been expecting this to happen a long time ago. Web 2.0 is being used a lot for link building and they will definitely loose some value.

I don't understand why google allows web 2.0 to pass more link juice than newly created domains. IMO a newly created domain should pass more pagerank than web2.0 even though the pr of the root domain is 7 or 8 simply because anyone can create a link there for free whereas a when a new domain he spend money on it. It is easy to get 100s of web2.0 links but getting hundreds of links on 'normal' website is more difficult.

What I think will work after penguin 2.0 is private blog network which are truly private and properly maintained. If they are properly maintained, then there is no way google will know they form part of a private blog network.

Penguin 1.0 = Penguin 2.0( pain and destruction)

Really? So, all the best known sites will get HIT cause, if you didn't know, they all accept guest posts. The only difference between them and sites like techmaish is that you need a lot of brain, hard work and luck to get your article/link published on their site

Web 2.0 have been hit hard lately, i guess everything will remain the same but the links pointing to tier 1 will need to be less spammy. PPl have been abusing so much the net with GSA (i hate this spam tool)making really easy to generate tons of link in a day.

It's probably going to be the same as last time. They're going to over-do it with the update because a ton of white hat seo'ers are going to complain. Then they'll slowly roll back the changes until the next update again.

Actually I bet that sape will survive and flourish, google still can't track it down.

To hit web 2's they need to hit the main domain, that won't go down well it is used by alot of genuine users and businesses. It would be quite easy to give sape a big hit, they won't get the whole network they will hit it hard. It's all guess work right now until it actually happens and my bet is they will actually make this live piece by piece then announce it when the final part goes live. The last one was a disaster.
By hitting web 2's they'd probably actually affect more whitehat than blackhat because 99% of bh'ers do not maintain their web 2's whitehaters do.This looks, judging by his comments, aimed squarely at paid services on forums, who knows,we'll find out in a few weeks. As I say I doubt this will be released in one go,it would be too brutal instead I see it gradually introduced and the final part they anounce, the serps is moving more right now so don't be suprised if it is a part or test of this new update.

I think that ultimately this is the beginning of the fall of SAPE and tiered link building, and those who have low quality tiers are about to get hit hard.

SAPE is just a guess, but I sure would make certain any spin stuff I have within two links from my money site were prime.
