Godaddy --The Worst Web Hosting Company

If you're thinking about transferring your site hosting to go daddy then STAY AWAY from them they're real time waster. This is worst hosting company ever. Since I sign up with them, i start getting series of problems with them.

First when I signup with them then from no where without telling me they host my site on Asia Pacific server. Then when I contact them they tell me to cancel my hosting and give me in-store credit.

After I get USA hosting it took my really 5 days with them just to transfer my sites. I am experienced in transferring sites but their so called best control panel is really slow. Even it take 5-10 minutes just for extracting files. They also don't have any kind of Chat system for hosting and when you send ticket to them, they take nearly 24 hrs to reply it.

Their PHPAdmin area is really useless and slow, it does not accept gzip file. Even it does not accept SQL file correctly as a result I can't logging my sites (showing invalid username). Now, waiting for their reply on ticket.

Recently, I used 5-6 different hosting companies which include (hostthename, namecheap, web hosting hub, fatcow, justhost and godaddy). From all these hosting companies GoDaddy is really useless and time waster. STAY AWAY from them it is your own benefit.

I don't know, I have a good expirience. And I think they gave you Asia Pacific cause you're from Asia. They gave me EU cause I am from Europe

i always stay away from hosting my sites at a domain registrar, no matter how cheap that is...

Godaddy are fine for Domains...there hosting is poor considering Hostgator offer a decent service for peanuts.

they have just shut all my websites down today for copyright now they wont reply to my emails, they didnt even warn me they just shut me down

The phrase "you get what you pay for" really does come true in this case.
If you paid for their cheapest hosting (shared) then I can't see why you would think the service would be much better.

If your looking for a beast to host your site on, maybe you need to think about a strong VPS or dedicated server.
If you use shared hosting, your going to find within time this WILL happen again. Shared hosting is not a powerhouse.

Yes, SkyrocketSEO it does not cost anything to godaddy when some people give them negative reviews but my main reason for this post is to help other people.
@Duffers5000: Yes, GD is fine for domains but don't know since my start i prefer namecheap

Your telling me godaddy is expensive hosting? (I really hope thats not what your saying)
If you think your going to get great service for $8-40/month for hosting that's just foolish.

I will tell you my opinion as i transferred 1000's sites to people hosting (i am a Flipping seller):
1-my 1st choice: Hostgator, Bluehost, justhost and monsterHost. all of them have cpanel with WP script install in it and easy File Manager to extract and zip folder (very important if you have folders over 5mb, no need for FTP file to spend >10 mins for files to be uploaded)
2-the worst :iPage (very slow), Godaddy (you have to wait 5 mins or more to install WP, waiting for approval ), some hosting from holland and other countries (A lot headache when yo uwant to import the database)

And the funny thing is : the 1st choice hosting prices are less than $9 and the worst choice hosting prices are like $4 $5.

Again , i am talking from my point of view to transfer the sites and installing them without any problems.

1.No online chat (you have to wait fking 24hours for thier replay via email WTF !!)
2.Worst hosting ever seen my life (wtf no cpanel )

Yeah dude/ Godaddy hosting is really sucks. Even i was hosting 6 domains and also having problems with name server their support is really bad.

Godaddy does suck when it comes to web hosting. I've had many clients and I really hated the times when I had to deal with Godaddy's crappy products. I don't know why they are complicating things and wasting time, money and energy on something that sucks. cPanel would've been a much cheaper and easier solution. Don't they ever receive feedback from webmasters? It takes like 5 minutes to create ftp account, seriously?

WebHostingTalk forum is the best site to find good deals and reliable hosting providers. From the top of my head, I can tell, Stablehost and Hawkhost are very good hosts.
