Increase website authority

Hi

Im starting my first authority website, ive added content, seeing pages added into google slowly.

How do I get my site an authority, what steps do I need to take?

Do I need powerful high pr links for my home page or my targetting inner pages?

Any advice

Think about it. Why would you be considered an authority site? Well only if you had tons of information about a given subject, as would be represented by the content of your site. The structure of your site. Having all the keywords associated with that subject present on your site. Used as categories, used as tags, used as interlinking anchors. Links out to authority... and of course anchored link coming into your site to the homepage and inner pages reflecting these keywords and your onpage content........ and ideally links from other authority high PR sites in that niche.

There is also some strong evidence that making a site multilingual can also raise its authority in Google's eyes. This is also congruent with what SEO_Alchemy has already pointed: multilingual site = more content = more authority.

To gain site authority you'll needs tons of high pr links and you need to be associated as a brand. Start developing a social media presence, off-line presence, etc. This equals trust in google's eyes.

I wouldn't call "authority" site until I have at least 20 1000 words articles on a subject. I think you can be sure that you have an authority site when you start seeing natural links that people post on the web quoting you as the source.
