Figured I'd make one of these now, lol. A little networking in the IM community may be beneficial at some point in the future, assuming this journal stays active and I attract enough attention. I don't really have much of a background to offer. I started making money online 5 years ago but haven't had 'insane' success. Best results I've seen was a month where I made like $30 a day. Right now I'm taking a year off of college because I want to see how successful I can be online. During college it's too much of a chore to juggle studies and online work.

This journal will cover everything but not in depth. When I say everything, I mean I'm not tied to just making YouTube videos, making websites, etc. I'm basically going to do anything that can make money without 'much work'.

My short term goal is $200 per day. My long term goal is to create a service. My longer term goal is to start a company, lol. If I fail, oh well. If I don't, yay, lol.

To start off, I'm going to try and get some money saved up with PPD. Normally I create my landing pages/download websites on Wordpress. I decided to create a custom website this time around. I'm kind of decent at programming, so I'm going to create any small websites on my own. This makes the websites load ridiculously fast and it's tailor made to fit my needs.

I have one website created so far, and I'm trying out YouTube for the initial money. I normally stay away from YouTube, but I figure it'd be a good thing to learn how to drive traffic from YouTube. Only one video uploaded so far.

The reason I stay away from YouTube is because of the flagging. I've put up two videos in the past couple of days and they get taken down fairly quickly. But besides that, the fact that they can be taken down so easily is a problem for me.

Super late update, lol. So long story short, I reached $100 a day with PPD about 2 months after starting this thread. I was able to maintain that for about 2 - 3 months until Google started slapping everyone silly. I'm starting this journey over again from scratch now. My current goal is only about $150 a month. If I can achieve that, I can stay afloat.

Day 1:

I'm considering this day 1, lol. So anyway, I finished creating my website and am making it live today. Most of today will be for creating content on my website, writing articles for web 2.0's, and maybe making some videos. I'm basically trying to do whatever I can to generate traffic so I can see how much tuning my website needs.
