What does "Gray" reputation comment mean?

A few seconds ago, I got a reputation notification and someone did this :


Now, I'm not sure what it means...green = positive, red = negative, gray = ?
If it's like neutral, then why would someone do it?

Sorry, I might be totally wrong, so if someone can explain me what it means.

Careful saying that, that post could get a mod to watch over you and your IP for a bit. You can see the name of the person who repped you if you purchase JR. VIP. That's one of the many perks.

You've been here since 2010. You should be able to buy it by now I would think. Although, you can get it whenever you're ready.

0 Rep means a neutral rep. It can either come from a person with a rep of 0 or a rep of negativity.
