Hi... BHW Member.

ii paid someone via paypal about two weeks ago, and he never fulfill his promise for a service. first, i paid / bought something from him with small amount and seems legit. and i paid / bought with big amount and he disappeared.

i wanna ask, what i should do ? will paypal investigate his account ?

i believe he also delete his account, what paypal do in this case, paypal will investigate , hold or do something like that against cash out from his account ?

can anyone tell me what all paypal do for this case ? will paypal process it with local police ?

*sorry my english is bad

file for a paypal chargeback. There are chances that they may rule in your favour and return the money. file for chargeback asap. It just takes few minutes. Paypal won't go to police.

PayPal don' give a shit.

File for a PayPal chargeback. If he deleted the account, most probably he took the money too,but you never know, file chargeback through PayPal and you will learn some.Do it soon, before buyer protection coverage days pass out.

This is what caught my attention. How can you be so sure that the freelancer deleted his Paypal account?

No offense guys, but it looks like the OP is the one who scammed someone, deleted his account and worried about Paypal dispute.

YehudaAS, Yes Paypal will handover your Address to your Local Cops and send a SWAT team to get the money back. Better contact the buyer and complete the work before something goes wrong.

Paypal will never close your account, they will hold your account in the database for life unless you take them to court to get the data removed. Even if the option is there to close your account it's not really deleted.

If theres a problem a buyer can open a dispute via paypal within 45 days I believe.

I agree.

I've done this before and paypal does investigate. Most of the disputes resolved in the buyer favor over the seller. If you do open a dispute, make sure you respond as required so the vendor doesn't get preference because a response wasnt received from you. Check the status regularly. I'm a little antsy so I would check the notes regularly because I hate sitting still.

If anyone's account should get blocked, its the person who caused this difficulty to begin with.

I hope things work out for you and you get your money back.
