#1 and #2 on MMO niche, how does this guy does it?

I was surfing the net and happen to chance upon this serp result.

This guy manage to rank youtube video for #1 and #2 on google.

Any insights, guys?

Look at the age of those. If they are old (maybe pre 2009) that could be a factor. Along with keywords this guy obviously understands keywords. He most likely maximized the SEO on the video. Linked the video to various sources on the internet and has now got himself and aged video.

He did off-site SEO which are backlinks... It's easy to rank YouTube videos on Google especially because Google loves YouTube's videos (it's logical)
Find some high PR backlinks build them manually and you will see the results.. Of course, boost your videos with views/likes... And do good on-site(on-video) SEO.

That is a complete myth, Youtube vids are no easier to rank than websites. Do you think Matt and his chums are blissfully unaware of people using Youtube for marketing?

I have tried many of times ranking a video and ranking a website, both same keyword, both same seo service and there is nothing to suggest that one is easier to rank than the other.

Well, as for me I ranked a lot of my videos on google, just with great on-video SEO... If I did some backlinking it would be even better.. I'm telling from my own experience.. But imagine if I had some high PR backlinks... It would jump on #1 place in no time
