Don't risk with private registration either if you're doing BH, because if they lock you out then all thousands of your domains will belong to the company that you are using the private registration with, ICANN policy

It's easy enough to buy 1000 domains....

But if you want to profit selling them, then you have do do the marketing. Gennerally speaking people will not beat a path to your door offering large sums, you have to go out (at least elecronically) and find them.

It's not so easy, unless your have the experience and knowledge.

Take a look at namepros.com and dnforum.com.

Also reggingdrunk.com for a good laugh, beware.

Many domainers think that moniker.com is the best registrar...

im planning to a) do some serious blackhat domain parking and b) sell a few or more in 1-2 years. i was lookin thru the auctions and hell, every shitty 2 word domain goes for $60 min.. so i thought its really fuckin time to buy loads of domains because its a very nice investment

I've been domaining for quite some time. I can assure you Namecheap is a trusted registrar. I have 100+ domains hosted at Namecheap. Just, stay away from GoDaddy and you will be safe.

Sedo is a hot market for some good looking domain names.
One idea could be to make an automated blog on each domain or at least some sort of blogspot domain linked, etc Once enough links are spread around the web (keep in mind the farms idea) some adsense wont hurt as well.. This because if you plan to resell the domains at some stage they should have some white hat history and even some PR!

I would look at resellerclub, I have an account there, and namecheap and name [I have domains at all 3], I am letting everything I have at godday go, then reregister it someplace else, as they keep deniging my push to another registrar.

I know for a fact that Google does look at Whois info, also can link networks with Adsense/Adalytics accounts.

Your best bet is to become a reseller at a reputable registrar. Avoid Tucows and its affiliates at all costs (Domain direct, opensrs, etc). I worked there for 6 years, and that place doesn't have its act together. You'll end up losing domains from time to time due to theft and their own mistakes cause they hire all the wrong ppl (damn cheapskate company).
Even frank schilling wont deal with their shit anymore

You would be better off investing in a couple of LLL.coms and things like that, if you want to register new domains, get good dictionary words, because they keep their value well and if you can find a buyer in the right niche you can make a tidy profit!
