Was wondering what you guys think the best google position or rank checker is/ what tools they use to keep track of their rank??

I've been trying a lot of free tools for rank checking....Most of are not accurate!

Finally, the only way is connecting to a vpn (with an US IP) and check manually...

Use seo powersuite ranktracker. You can get for free on here, just search for it.

The seo powersuite is no longer working for me. I use Cuterank! It's pretty simple and gives the right positions, it's the best rank traker i've found until now. U can track only one site on the demo, and illimited project with the paid one (arround 50 bucks)

Serpbook is great. They update really fast and they are pretty affordable too.

One of the best free tools for rank tracking of Google is an online service WhatsMySerp. There are some limits, such as eight domains per account and 25 keywords per domain. It is much faster than a local program, such as SEO pagerank. The site does keep statistics in the form of a graph for each keyword. Like all serp checkers, there will be some differences between the report and a search. The differences are primarily due to Geo location of the search and also depend on which server you hit when you search.

The seo powersuite is no longer working for me.

I'm not sure why that could be. SEO powersuite works wonders - especially with PPC tracking added to rank tracker, it's now a combination of SEO and PPC.

Serpbook is the best solution ...i am using it and its really good one.

Use SeoBook's Rankchecker plugin for FireFox. It will tell you all your positions for any keywords of your choice as deep as 200 spots down.
