Do you use LSI for article writing or just anchor text?
I feel like if you used it for article writing your density would skyrocket
say you had 2% of your main keyword dresses
then 1% of the following
boy dresses
girl dresses
pink dresses
denim dresses

technically your keyword dresses would be shot to 6% right?

there are services selling LSI articles, of course this is a great way to generate content for linking. spinning the article can make you a great article you can re-use dozens of time.

You're just using the same keyword over and over again with a different adjective. This is a very common misconception.

"Lose Weight" and "Lose Weight Fast" "How to Lose weight" etc are not LSI variations. "Slimming Down" "Shedding Body Fat" "Reducing Waist Size" .... those are your LSI variations. Switching the same keywords around or simply putting a word in front or behind them, is just keyword repetition, and yes your keyword density will increase, and yes using such methods will inevitably lead to a way over-optimized backlink anchor profile aka Penguin fodder.

Exactly, a lot of people are of the impression that , go to google adwords find whatever keywords it spews out and put it in the article. LSI keywords are related keywords. If you use the technique you mentioned, I think you will be like a sitting duck to google.

well i paid someone for keyword research and they are giving me 20 keywords and 3LSI terms per keyword. so i was just curiouys before i get them, how should I use them

Use them when you write content. Put them in your paragraphs, and in your meta titles/descriptions and h2s.

how to find such lsi phrases?

Well I would suggest using google. Type in your keyword and write down all of the suggestions that pop up as you are typing your keyword. Then search your keyword. At the bottom of the page you will see searches related to: Your keyword

Search each of these and do the same thing. These are phrases that google tends to think are related to your main keyword. You should be able to dig down into some more obscure niches and get longtails and such as well.

You used to could use the wonder wheel in google to do the same thing as well as a function in adwords tool to dig deeper into the top ranking sites, but all good things come to an end.

To find lsi phrases, simply plug your keyword into the google search box and copy the blue related searches keywords at the bottom. Scrapebox has a google suggest option to get these related keywords for you.

You can also find related keywords using "~".
