Hey!

We are currently building a small blognetwork hosted on wordpress.com which all contain ads to our main selling pages. We are currently working on around 500 wordpress.com hosted blogs (100 accounts, 5 blogs per account) but a friend told me that wordpress.com does not allow ads on their blogs and they might shut down networks. Is this really true or do they actually not really matter about such blogs? If they care, whats the best to stay under the radar? We are using private proxies and do not login to each account from the same IP.

thanks

Try to post quality content there.
In first few weeks just add content but don't add links.
Then come after some time and post links.

Do not attempt to build a blog network on wordpress.com. Buy the domains, use your own hosting, do it right. Never half ass anything what you can full ass.

Yeah... its not about the costs its just much easier in our niche to rank keyword targeted .wordpress.com hosted blogs.

Thanks

I can assure you Google did not decide that in your particular niche Wordpress.com will have an advantage not found in other niches. If cost isn't an option, do it the right way.

I've had quite a few wordpress.com blogs deleted. And they're pretty aggressive about deleting them as soon as those links start coming in.

Once in a while you can get away with it, but I wouldn't put all my eggs in one basket with them.
