I havent found any threads talking about this so I thought I throw it out.

If you want a ton of free easy backlink juice, just content hijack from PR n/a pages that are on high PR domains.

Use their content for your backlink content. Also make big block paragraph quotes from their content and post them in your sites content.

Since Penguin (maybe even before) backlinks seem to be attached to content as well as urls and domains.

Boom! You got backlinks!

Cool trick, but be cautious. I see a fix coming & penalty (if it hasn't already). This was very publicized to the SEO community back in November, I'm sure Matt Cutts and his team have seen it by now.

Yeah, Matt Cutts seems to hint at it here (in his esoteric way). Doesnt seem to be a big deal to him.

"Note: I wouldn't expect links from press release web sites to benefit your rankings, however." ~Matt Cutts

One reason why Press Releases work so well now is because they are syndicated, scraped, and hijacked onto tons of websites. The links arent so important, as Cutts implies.

Very interesting, so basically if i have a high PR website i can dominate any niche if competitor's PR lower than mine?

Looks like big G got wise to it:

They cant get wise to it. Its not really a hack. Its just the way their algo works now. Dont copy exactly what dejanseo.com did. Get a bit creative with this. The opportunities are far reaching when you understand why Google allows this and how to use it.
