So say I have 3 webpages targeted at a different keyword in each article.
When I am doing web 2.0 and stuff do I advertise my base domain like test.com then have 30% exact keyword match in anchor text so that would be 10% of each keyword? or do I do the individual pages seperately like test.com/article1 and have 30% of the anchors being the keyword for that article.
If I do the latter how do I get my domain its self to rank in these keywords because i know pages like test.com/article are easier to outrank than test.com

Forget about anchor test variation.... Focus on building 50% links to homepage and spread the remaining 50% out, within inner pages. If you feel like you just have to focus on anchor ten variation, then keep it simple. There IS NOT A MAGIC NUMBER HERE. Example: 30% main kw - 30% url/domain name 20% click here, etc - 20% long tail keywords similar to your main kw.

hope this helps a little and good-luck along your journey, I wish you the very best!

So I never use 1 specific keyword for anchor text. my anchor text is ALWAYS going to be the url/direct domain name even if it isnt an EMD.
so if I have a website say called
GeneralAcneProblems.com
then have a page like "remove blackheads"
if I want my main page ranking for "remove blackheads" how do I affiliate that article?
based on what you said even if I backlinked to GeneralAcneProblems.com/RemoveBlackheads the anchor text should be 30% "General Acne Problems" then 70% generic anchors?

for this particular url, you should backlink as anchor "remove black heads" and variations as the main kw because that looks natural and that`s what you want to rank for.

Hello again.

Yes..you most definitely want to use the 70% generic anchors. Follow the instructions that I gave you. Never use just one anchor text. The above guidelinee, when joined with awesome internal linking, will work wonders.

thanks man

so I always backlink to GeneralAcneProblems.com and never the specific internal pages?

So should I backlink keyword1 to domain.com or domain.com/keyword 1?
theoretically I want the domain to rank right or do I want individual pages to rank
