anyone with cupid know why my money got deducted?

Don't they have some big lawsuit against them in the UK? I think some dudes sued them saying they lure you in to purchasing by having fake accounts. Like they would make the free account, then some hot chick would PM them but they couldn't reply unless they purchased. I read on the BBC they were getting sued for it.

I have only ever promoted Cupid through their white label dating, I have always been paid on time and they have never deducted my money. However, I'm not sure what methods you were using to get your sign-ups, but I never have had a problem with them. That's interesting about the lawsuit, I have not seen it on the news, but I know that there are people who have paid which get very frustrated as they like to mix fake girls in with their other 'genuine' messages...so not sure it's the best place to get adult dating, but as long as it pays, I have no issue with it.

Black Hat or not, it was still unprofessional of them not to notify you.

There are different levels of "blackhat" traffic. If they (cupid) were getting paid converted leads from the traffic sent, then yes, the OP should have been paid or contacted at the least. Now, if someone is sending complete sh*t leads that they know will never convert, I can see no payment happening. I like using blackhat methods, but only the ones where the company I am working for and myself are profiting from.

Yes I would agree, using black hat methods are fine and I only agree with them if it is a win - win situation for the promoter and the company.
