You can do the math easily. Go to Google adwords tool and check the number exact searches for your keyword in UK. Lets assume you find out that there are 2500 searches made per month.

In UK 90.46% percent of population uses Google, and 2.58% uses Yahoo. So using the old trick, we all know:

The number of searches in Yahoo is approximately: 2500 * 2.58 / 90.46

I will do. Although the ad is not actually on yahoo search engine. Its on Yahoo local which is like a directory I think.

I thing using Google keyword thing will still help me estimate 2500*0.00024/90.46 or sommit.

Hmm, the sum that you kindly provided comes out to 71 views per month.

I think that I can assume that the queries for yahoo local uk will be significantly lower.

In conclusion I have emailed the guy to ask him where he got the figures from and If I can see a copy.

I believe they will have the call recorded and be looking to delete it asap. I have been asked to send an email stating that I am happy with the ad once it is live which I will obviously not be doing.

Thinking I might go to my bank and ask them to charge back my card or something...

Yeeeaaaa just ignore the fact you got scammed and take it as a lesson.. He bought a product thinking he would get 600 quieres a month, instead he gets no where near it. He should claim a refund ofc.... Won't take more than a few minutes per email...

There was no "scamming" here. Just a classic case of buyer's remorse. We all get it. Sometimes you need to back yourself and stick with your original decision.
