I'm looking for some type of script/tool that can shorten multiple links using multiple services all at once. Ideally I'd like to be able to copy/paste a block of HTML into a form and have it spit out multiple versions of that block of HTML with all the links shortened by diff. services. Does anything like this exist?f

get fatboy's mass url shortener:

Cheers Honeybird :)

If anyone has any other services they want added into the bot just shout and I'll try to squeeze them in!

Its easy to host your own private link shortner script...

There is a free script called "yourls", all you do is buy a domain, upload the script and you are in business... Bing "yourls" and they have a nice site that tells you how to set it up.

Aha, that would be a wonderful idea to set up your own link shortener.

I am currently working on one myself.
Didnt use any premade script tho. coded it all myself.
It has geotargeting in it too:)

You can check the working beta at

(ps. what do you think about the domain/name?)

wtf? cramp it redirects to a cpa offer???

Btw, does anybody know of a shortener script like yourls that can geotarget? Or a plugin for yourls?

There is a way to shorten the links with bit.ly and don't get banned, it is double shorten, first go to tinyurl, shorten your link, take the new link and then shorten it in bit.ly, this little trick is very useful for many things!

hope this is useful for you guys!

Why would you need to shorten it more that what bit.ly does? Can someone elaborate on this?

What is the point of shortening an already shortened link twice? What useful ess does this provide and how can using tinyurl get you banned?

Some sites ban the url for based on the redirect domain you are making short. So no matter if bit.ly hides it, the first referrer they see is what you hid. If you shorten your ********/2.gp link with bit.ly then sites will see the OTHER shortening service as the referrer. Thus not getting your links banned.
