Where do I sell ebooks?

eBay, I remember when I first started selling on ClickBank no one bought it.
So I decided to sell on eBay where millions of people visit everyday!

I believe you're right. They don't allow digital products but what you could do is use a service like kunaki.com to burn and then ship the cd to the customer.

You can hire a freelancer from Getafreelancer.com to get you sales, but it's like an affiliate.

eBay is actually a very good place to offer your ebooks, you just have to bypass the no digital products policy by shipping ebooks on cd/dvd, it may seem like it requires too much effort at first, but the amount of potential clients available on ebay should nicely compensate for your work. I build up email list and sell them direct via emails with a link to a buy it.

Depending on the quality of the email list, sales can be quite easy.

How about getting content on stuff that ppl are interested in: mesothelioma, diets, making money and so on from forums or other resources use the translate method or any other to generate the unique content fast (doesn't matter if it's crap content) make an ebook out of it and sell it for $5-$15. Would this work if not why not?

Ok, you go ahead and do the translate method in an ebook, sell it and receive payments with paypal and watch the chargebacks come rolling in.
You would have so many disputes in your paypal that it would crash their servers.

You can get away with that method if you are posting to a blog, but not in an ebook.

What I notices while selling ebooks is that some people will never even open them and most of those that do will never do anything after reading the ebook. Even if you sell crap most people will never actually ask for a refund.

Well yes, just choose the market carefully before
writing the ebook. Self improvement/development
niche is yet to see chagebacks.At least thats what
my experience has been.

I've made around $20.000 from one ebook within 3 months. No mailing lists, no nothing. I am looking into writing and publishing a proper book at the moment. There is definitely money in it.
