Things you can do with a VPS?

I have a Windows 2008 VPS... what are the possibilities? Running a hosting business? Running apps 24/7 especially to help me monetize my sites?
What ideas do you have?

well, I have a windows dedicated server which I thought I could use for hosting websites. You are kind of limited with windows and hosting. there is "WebsitePanel" (free) which you can use but I do NOT advise you to use it. They have Z E R O documentation on how to set it up. So unless you are familiar with setting up a webhosting server, please don't lose valuable time as I did with them.

depending on what sites you have you could run ScrapeBox or other IM tools. Also depens on the specifications of the VPS.

VPS is mostly used to run software 24/7, for example, SEO tools such as Scrapebox, or even your bots to make money.

Personally, I use VPS because my internet is too slow to handle all the connections I need for the software I use.

Bro, don't make it hosting as You will only make your clients suffer. Windows is no good for hosting

I see You are already doing what I was going to offer... Maybe if your hosting company allows it, you can run and a proxy leercher & verifier program, so you have fresh proxies if you need, plus you can sell/share them

well, i can give you some samples... Proxy Multiply (there is a BST here about it), Proxyfire, Proxy Goblin and etc...

these programs go and crawl sites listing fresh proxies, and then test out the proxies and sort out the working ones. These programs do that 24 hours a day, so you always have fresh working proxies list which you can use for yourself, you can sell it to someone and etc...
