ATTN: Mods, how many users/posts you ban/delete everyday?

In the last week or so I've seen a lot of scammers post in an attempt to bait people into PM'ing them or whatever.

It seems that an AWFUL LOT of users are banned and there are lots of posts deleted everyday.

I'd like to get an idea of the % of the posts/users are banned everyday/week/month etc. I mean, how many of these assholes are stalking people around here?

Or maybe just some a figure to give us an idea of how widespread (or not) this is.

And I believe the mods are doing a good job, I'm just wondering how much of a "fight" it is to keep this up.

I can't answer the question of how many, but I will say this though..

The staff here do an outstanding job compared to all the other forums I've been a part of. I used to underestimate their position, but comparing the quality of this community with the others, you truly get to see the difference.

A great thanks goes to our vigilant community. We can't be everywhere and without your support in reporting scams, spam and everything that may be against the rules, it wouldn't be possible to keep the place like it is.

well, personally, if I had a better idea of how widespread scammers are here, it would add another layer of security, awareness is not a bad thing isn't it?

It is an everyday uphill battle. As far as the percentage, we
are too busy to stop and count.

Thanks for your kind words though, and as Jazzc said, we
(the staff) are very grateful to the members who help out
by reporting suspicious activities and assist us in countless
other ways. Your efforts are highly appreciated!

yeah, I didn't realize you can report posts, I'll use that in the future!

I worked for a long time in the ISP business and there too we were struggling with abuse, it was really difficult to fight spammers and abusers, personally I don't have the stomach for it, it is a never ending battle, it gets very old quick. More reasons to admire what is done here.

I'm used to report here and there some probable fraudulent posts but we are the ones who are thankful for the great job done every single day!

The job you guys do isn't going unnoticed and it is one of the reason why i come here on a daily basis for 2 years straight. I'm sure hundreds of others members do the same.

How much do we have to remove? Unfortunately way too much - but at the same time, every day I read posts that remind me of the great members we have here. ;-)

I try to use the report function as much as possible and I encourage everyone to do the same.
It is really helping the mods to delete malicious posts as fast as possible.
