Scraped competitors backlink (around 5k) - Whats next?

I noticed a lot of users here recommend analzying competitor's backlinks and try to get hands on them as well.


So I used scrapebox, majesticseo and market samurai and grabbed all links I possibility can from 5-6 competitors (most are on page #1 right now). I got a list of around 5k unique domains sorted by domain PR.


But whats next? How do I take advantage of this? Do I have to really go thru them 1-by-1 to see which one is possible for me to leave a backlink as well? Or is there some sort of easy way to do this?

I dont have sick submitter but I do have scrapebox. I think its call "blog analyzer", but the thing is, i think it only analyze blog-type but not anything else. Any other tools I can use beside sick submitter?

There must be a way to do this. 9/10 members here keep recommending this strategy but it seems like no one is using it?

There is no what's next. There is no instruction.

It depends what you want to do with these links.

If you want to post to your competitors backlinks you've already gotten good advice. Platform analyzer by the Sick team is FREE. Blog analyzer in SB will be useless for this purpose.

Don't just follow a strategy because 9/10 people recommended it. Follow it because it serves a purpose for you. You need to be more ACTIVE in your approach, and less REACTIVE. Don't just keep following other members advice and then say "what's next", figure out what your goal is and then figure out the tools you need to get there.

Of course post to the best sites manually. Be sure to use correct anchor text distribution. Don't post too many high PR links at once if the site you make links to is new( 1-2 PR4+ per day). Do not post on sites with more than 20-40 outbound links. Or less if they link to pills, adult sites.

Auto - GSA would pr. be able to post on some of these sites (articles).

Usually, scraping backlinks of competitors is a very good idea only when you know what to do next

In my case, after scraping, I do the following analyzing -

• Check how many backlinks are dead, and how many are alive. Filter the links according to them.
• How many unique domains
• How many IPs
• Average OBL per backlink
• Backlinks FIRST started pouring in
• How many platforms
• Average PR of backlinks
• Most used language of backlinks
• Anchors used
• If the backlink building is still going on or it stopped a few weeks ago

After analyzing, I just copy the whole thing and implement on my own site. I mean, if the competitor site has backlinks from 50 platforms, I will get from 100. If the average OBL of his/her site's backlinks are 50, I will try to get links with 40 OBL and so on.

The best part will be trying to have a link from your competitor's site's backlinks aka reverse engineering.

I'm assuming you used this guide from crazyflx, or one similar:

Using Scrapebox, you input your competitors url to SITE:www.competitor.com and got all of their links. Then used the Backlink Checker to get all of their backlinks. Then used Blog Analyzer to get just the blogs that Scrapebox can comment to.

So you should have 2 files, 1 is all of your competitors backlinks and 1 is just those backlinks that Scrapebox can comment to.

The first thing i do is just LOOK at the backlinks. You will be able to see if there's a lot of blogspot blogs, or tumblr pages, etc. Once I noticed that one of my competitors had several wordpress pages with embedded video's. So i ended up copying that format as well.

Next you can take your 1st file, use GSA Search Engine Ranker, Edit, Tools button, Import Target URLs -> From File. If GSA can create a backlink then it will.

And with that 2nd file you can obviously have Scrapebox comment on those pages with a link to your site.

Grab some pages from those domains using scrapebox and then blast it using any tools you have access to. Whether it be xrumer, scrapebox, etc. The successfully approved list is what you can use for your other campaigns. If you have some high pr domains you weren't able to post on, you can go in manually and see how many obls they have.

If they are low obls and appear to be unspammed, keep this list as the nudge you'll use to get your sites from 2nd page to the 1st page. This is after obviously blasting your site with the approved list and seeing where they sit in the serps after a few weeks.
