Reading all these positive replies here, a few days ago I decided to give a try to this plugin, to see if it's really so great

After a few days of using this plugin, my conclusion is: it is really awesome, it's even better than I expected! And the support is really awesome: as I never used this type of plugin before, I has a few more questions about - and the support was very fast and helpful, all my questions was answered in short time, all my problems was solved; fast and friendly support

For the record, I'd like to quickly document an unusual host-related issue OliBoli had encountered:

At first, the plugin couldn't seem to connect to the API. After double checking the API server I investigated from her site and found from a phpinfo() lookup that her hosting provider (iPage) had set the PHP directive "allow_url_fopen" to "off". This is what was blocking the plugin, preventing it from contacting the API.

This is very unusual because the rare hosting providers who block this function usually do so for security purpose, though iPage had cURL enabled (which allows even more potentially "risky" features).

Anyway the issue was fixed in no time upon a simple request to the host support, who were kind enough to re-enable this function immediately.

Unfortunately this is not possible at the moment, WPMDb is currently only available in english.
Foreign languages support is not planned yet, but can possibly be developed in a future version if there is enough demand.

As stated, the plugin rely on its own API containing all of the information in its own database. This database itself is updated automatically on a daily basis. As to how the whole API and database work exactly is my business, I'm selling the product, not the recipe.

There is no statement that the plugin will work "forever" - and there is no product in the world that can honestly be guaranteed to work forever, especially when the creator stop supporting it. Note that licenses are sold for a given time period (monthly or yearly), not as "lifetime" licenses. So as long as I'm selling yearly licenses, one can consider that I have planned to support the product for at least the year to come. If I ever plan on stopping to support it, I will stop selling licenses - but this is currently not planned in the near future.

There is no really maximum limit as to how many post you can create per day.
However, the recommended setting for the automation feature is "1 post every 15 min" (if you do the maths this equals to 96 posts a day, which is already quite a lot)

You can change this setting from one post every 12 hours down to one post every 1 minute (quick maths: there are 1440 minutes in 24h), but this is not recommended for two reasons:
- So many posts added per day is really unnatural to search engines
- Given that WPMDb really adds the content to your site (nothing is hotlinked) the process of downloading all the content and images can be a bit heavy on CPU and bandwidth if you run this every minute - so you'd better not use this setting on a shared hosting. And btw, most shared hosting don't allow to run automated tasks (cron jobs) on schedules smaller than 15min.

Hello,

As I explained already when replying your previous pm, from the wp admin you should see the content and excerpt box as empty (you can see the title, featured image, and many more info in the custom post metas under the content box) - this is normal.
WPMDb will dynamically generates the content on the front end from the post custom meta - allowing you to manipulate the master post template from wpmdb settings.
Please read the quick start guide provided with the plugin for more info about the master template.

The plugin is working without problems, and I really like all those possible customizations for everything

And about the awesome support: in my case the support was extended for a lot of extra things (not plugin related) - Zak helped me with a lot of hosting problems, theme problems, site functionality problems - he helped me with absolute everything, even if that problems was not plugin related

I don't have enough word to say how satisfied I am with this awesome plugin - and I don't have enough words to thank you, Zak, for all your extra help! I purchased not only a great plugin, I got also a friend - Zak's friendship is my big bonus attached to the plugin
