The domain is already ready.

You also might want to consider PPC and advertising on sites that are targeted for your niche. Do you think this is a niche where you could create your own product to sell directly through your site?

Dont rush anything. If its not ready, its not. You might hear that a lot but when setting niches, Quality > Quantity.

Do not share your niche here, keep it to your self, bulid good unique content to your site, update it weekly, make a blog, keep up and post news on your blog. Do social bookmarking on your site, make sure you make the site for the user. Start bulding links slow, and see how it goes. good luck
