Videos ranked on Google

Hey guys,
After reading a few posts from members of BHW, I decided to try ranking my youtube video on Google as ranking on Youtube can be very complex (or money consuming) for competitive niches. I decided to search the title of my video on Youtube and to my amazement, it was #1 on Google search but sadly it was for a keyword which got ~50 monthly searches. I am now planning on ranking another youtube video with a ~6.6k monthly search keyword and was wondering if Youtube videos get as much attention from searchers as opposed to the sites ranked on Google?

It's the other way around.
No one cares about youtube serps. I have videos with really big search volumes ranking 1st on yt serp and I get almost no traffic. Everything is about being ranked on G.
Ranking in yt serps is absolutely primitively easy and it's not exactly expensive either.
While ranking in G can take months and can be really costly, unless you own your own SEO software and know how to use it.
But you will soon find out.

ranking a highly competetive video on google can be as strenous as lifting a car. but you have to keep trying. Get your video as many good backlinks as you can, improve the keywords, description and title.

Anyone has any idea how to rank a vimeo or dailymotion video on google?

That's just me speculating, but I think it would make sense if youtube videos were easier to rank than from other websites, because Youtube is owned by Google. So, why don't you try to rank a youtube video instead?

I have found it pretty easy once you understand their algorithm to rank on Google for generally anything besides really competitive things. BUT I have noticed in last few days that videos take longer to rank on Google now. Before it was minutes, now it is hours....

My videos seem to rank on Google pretty quick for some reason. But I stopped uploading videos a long time ago, as they kept getting removed.

Hello there, i am purely in the youtube ranking game i also have a site linking from my youtube videos but i have a high competition in youtube He is starting to annoy me i have done keyword research i have sorted my SEO for my tags title and description as good as i can i gess i have 1 video at the top of my term search but the rest are on second and his are all on first i tried looking at the stats of y one which ranked in first place but nothing is making sense it has less comments likes views etc and all my videos have the same tags description. if anyone can help me here i would really love it post here or PM me

While you are free to target short-tail keywords, it's a good idea to focus on long-tail keywords, if you are planning to increase the rate of conversion. Even if you go to target short-tail keywords, do some competitive research so that you are well aware of your key competitors and whether you can beat them up.

I know who the main competitors are there are 2 1 is below me and the other is a nob shortly put. He copy's everything i do he has even starting to taking my branding i have had a few of his channels shut down due to impersonation, but he is getting wise of that now what i do NOT understand is how one of my video s is ranking first place and i cant seem to rank my others. my main key term search is 3 words long its around 85% of all traffic comes from and is the main term for the content i do. My main focus is to rank on YouTube my website is there only to help out my viewers if they want to go im not looking for conversion's as i will make more money on YouTube. i just cant think of anything else to rank my videos i am even willing to invest real $$$ to rank my videos if necessary but hopefully not .
