LOL

He is a member on here now, I pointed him in our direction last friday also.

I'll get him to pop his head up.

So after he got the deals, is he actually doing SEO work for them or just cashing in?

Dude i got a total deja vu here, there was a thread I read this exact same story in a few weeks ago.

Cashing in.

He has no experience of SEO. If he was to start now it would take him a while anyway to get up to speed with it.

Yay, soon enough the UK market won't trust any SEO guy without a recommendation.

This doesn't make sense to me. Surely to rank #1 for such terms, they had to of done SEO or paid someone to do SEO on their website and would then always know it was BS right off the bat. But hey, if it works, good for him! I'm just shocked that anyone would be that naive that is ranking #1 and more than likely already paying a company to do the work....

Great, not only is he spoiling the UK market now, but he became a scammer too.

I thought that he would have at least looked into SEO and did some work.

That's a neg rep for you on the account of your friend.

Some terms that are local are taken by sites with no SEO because NO ONE did any SEO.

Some local terms are just not economically worth SEO'ing

For those saying its ruining the market:

1. they are number 1 already, they are happy as long as they stay there.
2. scamming? kind of dirty but i see where you are coming from.
3. killing the market? its 5 businesses, shut up.

1. Alright, that's a bit dirty.
2. It's dirty only if he actually does some work. You mentioned that he's just cashing in, now that's a pure scam.
3. 1 thread x million noobs on BHW = dead market

if you are being put out of business by noobs, then you don't deserve to be in business.

Shit like this is why a lot of business owners think SEO'ers are scammers.

Someone should just open a shitlist thread on St Hughes on behalf of all bhw members
