Just depends on the offer. Some work, Some Don't. Some work for a little bit then don't. It really depends on the offer. I did a Acai Offer and it did make me $$$ but then after a few weeks convertisions died off.
I did an offer for a sleeping disorder and it didn't work at all. But the good thing about doing classified ads is you can change during the course of the month you can try a few different ones if it doesn't work. Also go for the top of the list extra exposure I think it's an extra 39.99 but it does definitely get way more traffic.

Same here, but I didn't know that you could change offers while the ad was running, also I never know how to price the ad.
For instance I promoted an offer around christmas time, the offer was to get your kids a letter from santa clause, the offer was cheap but I had no Idea how to price it.
So first I priced it for what the offer cost, 29.00 for 4 letters or something like that. The traffic was minimal and there were no conversions, so I thought of something, I changed the price to $30,000.00 and the traffic was insane, the conversions were low so that it had to be the offer that was no good.
It just goes to show you that small changes can be the life or death of a method.
A classified listing on eBay can make you some good money but here is what I do before any listing. The person who comes on eBay is looking for the best deal possible. Craigslist users are as close to eBay users as you can get. So I test the offer on CL first and if it converts then I buy a classified listing on eBay. That way I'm not wasting any money before I know if an offer might or might not convert.
Is it 100% foolproof? No, nothing is because I'm sure some things can convert on eBay that don't on Craigs. But I have not had a losing eBay classified listing since I started using this method and it doesn't cost me anything but time to test some ads on Craigs.
