Although I don't do IM full-time, how well I understand you.. It's really stressing and annoying when you're focused working at home and someone ask you to do something and breaks your concentration.

Moving to an office is definitely a great idea that I've been thinking of lately. At least they know you're "at job".

Very good question.

Whilst I love the entrepreneurial lifestyle, it's still hard when you have a close group of friends and family who all have regular jobs. They just don't understand the lifestyle and I often miss out on things due to work or need to take calls at unsociable hours.

That's one of the main reasons I moved to an office. People understand going to work so when I'm at the office people know I'm working. When I used to work from home everyone assumed I could just do everything for them like collect parcels, pay bills etc. sounds stupid but it can get annoying, especially when you're running a company and your time is valuable.
