Thanks I will check them out. Funnily enough my CPA network has that as a payout method, so maybe I should switch to them.

Well I have done the first step, but I regret it now as I started to rant on a bit too much. Many many nasty comments slipped out. So I will wait to see how they respond to that. Hope I can get my account back, thanks.
 
I Would be interested to know that scammer name even in PM
Because i had the same issue with some scammer who paid me and then the credit Card owner filed charge back
and paypal limited my account even though i did not spend even $1 from that money.
Anyway i would like to know that scammer if you do not mind.
 
If you are in the EU privacy laws prevent the connection to an account number and names. Combined with a VM that could be a solution, still need to obtain some documents tho. PP is good at finding people so you might want to take some extra precautions on top of that.

I am in doubt if this is a scam. Looks like it but the amount to account ratio seems way off. Still, if it is not a scam the buyer needs some serious education on how to conduct business. Provided everything stated is true obviously, there is usually more than one side to consider. But, accepting a deal to then do a refund without any previous contact to resolve amicably, stalling and avoiding, not cancelling the refund but acknowledging the deal was concluded as per requirement warrants Mod action imho. Again, provided there is evidence to all this as it just seems very strange indeed.
 
Paypal lets you create two accounts under your name/address, so as stated above, if you have a second bank account (or will get a VBA for now), just start another account. You could (with additional docs) set it up as a business account. A stealth account is another option.

Thanks for the response. Yes I know there is usually more than one side to consider, I am sure the buyer will have a completely different story to tell, that's usually how being scammed works. He requested a refund without contacting me on here, he didn't even have the decency to do that. I had to send him a message, which he took time to respond to. His first response was along the lines of "I don't need the account anymore, sorry bro". I have also tried responding to him in a reasonable manner, but he stalls. He goes offline when I message him. I am not trying to get him banned or hurt his rep, I am simply trying to get this guy to resolve this issue. Also I will provide evidence when I create a shitlist thread, as I have said I have given him 48 hours to get back to me. Sorry if this seems rude, I am just annoyed at this guy.

That is usually the way it works, true. :D That is why I brought up evidence.
You have nothing to prove to me, I can't take action anyway. You are not rude for not posting it here, the thread that is bound to follow will contain that evidence.

At this point you have very little chance of getting your money back, even if you do there will be collateral damage. Let him enjoy the fruits of his labor. :)

I do see your point of view tho, even tho he may go back on his word doesn't mean you need to stoop to that level too.
 
My aggressive abusive message to PayPal didn't work very well, they have sent me an email back saying that they are going to part ways with me to protect members of their online community. TBH I regret sending them the last email I sent them. I am not bothered about losing my account, its just the negative balance. I don't want to link up my current card and bank, as I will be using that for the next account I create on their. Also the only money I have coming into that account will take another 9 days. The annoying thing is the amount I am under is only $2, doesn't seem worth risking not being able to use my current bank account for the next PayPal account. Any ideas what I should do? Will PayPal wait 9 days, they said in the email they will take further action if my account stays negative? Should I worry?

I think opening a dispute on paypal doesn't get you limited permanently. Try to solve the case by producing some proofs to paypal. They may close the case favour to you and credit your balance.
 
Hes online now but just appearing offline. His last post was at 9:17PM (UK Time), yet it says he was last online at 3:54PM. Take it he isn't going to bother replying to this or to my PM, should I create a shitlist thread, or just accept it as a loss and move on?
 
i Would Say Wait For 48 hours then create a thread in shitlist and about new paypal take a look at few things as paypal don't allow multiple accounts so you need to have new mac address,new bank account and few things more so that you can start a fresh account and will have no issue as i had not done this and my both account are banned so be careful making a new paypal account

I finally got a reply from him, telling me the exact same thing as before. I tell him I can't wait 2-3 day and that he can end this now by dropping the refund. He then asks for a screenshot of my limited PayPal, so I send it to him, and no response. He keeps doing this, its hard work to communicate with this guy!
I will shitlist tomorrow if there is no reply, as I have no motivation to start a thread in the shitlist section tonight.

Ok this has been solved now!!!

The guy sent me the $10 as he said he would. Also a miracle happened!!

I was told my PayPal account was permanently limited, I threatened and abused the PayPal staff through emails, they said they are parting ways with me as I was a danger to the community, then two days later, just as I am about to create a stealth account. I get an email from PayPal saying my account has been fully restored!! WTF!!
I thought there was more chance of me winning the lottery than that happening. The person who posted here and said to be aggressive with them was right!! It works!!!
