So the other day I brought back my old site watchgossipgirl.com
Atm the site is pretty dead since the previous owner had Zango and CPALead on it. Currently I'm working on converting the site to Drupal (beta.watchgossipgirl.com) which I've found is much better for SEO.

So anyway, the next episode is screening on the 9th so I'm hoping I can get first in 2nd in google for "gossip girl online" and 2nd/3rd for "watch gossip girl"

I'm planning to do heaps of blog commenting, some social bookmarking and submit the site to some blog topsites but I was wondering what other techniques I should use specifically for this site (YES I HAVE USED THE SEARCH BAR) I don't mind dropping about $75 down on the site but all comments are appreciated!

For blog posting I hope you use something like CommentKahuna.

Are you having a gateway on it? If not, you could try emailing sidereel and explaining that you are the new owner and you don't have these things on there now. Sidereel is the best traffic for these sites by far.

Yea, I know like 5 mods from Sidereel so it's easy to get my site on there. Though I just want to get backlinks atm.

My goal is to get it first in Google for 'watch gossip girl' and 'watch gossip girl online' and then I will chuck Zango on and I should get a cool $7k a month from doing absolutely nothing
