Well....About more than a year back, I applied this method in the Technology niche. I used the content from a Russian site and translated the articles to English using G***** Translate tool. The first time I tried it, to my surprise, the content successfully passed the Copyscape test. I knew it right away that I had landed a goldmine. I kept adding the tech content to a wordpress blog, an article a day for about 3 months (Basically just a copy paste job). There was a PR update and the blog ranked a PR3, without any backlink work at all. I just had Adsense ads on the blog and the site was making about 150-200$ per month. I did not try to monetize it in any other way.

I got bored after sometime and flipped the blog on Flippa for 3K+ $$.

That's my short story....

P.S. Even though you are copy pasting, you need to make a few edits here and there to make it more readable, so the visitors also like what they are reading and keep coming back for more. All translated content are not usually translated with correct grammar.

You do not need to get backlinks for this method. As @blogman said, concentrate on bringing content to the site.

Posts will be indexed well without any issue. For your other question: "How can I know?" And how is it related with this thread?

An update:

Writing this thread (getting info organized in a way so you could read easily) took my 3 days. I even tried to help friends coming to skype and asking me lots of questions. Here are my feedbacks:

- Almost 95% of the questions were like "How much can I make".
- Almost 95% of the people did not read well the thread.
- Almost 95% of the people asked questions unrelated with the thread
- Almost 95% of the people asked about my sites and my revenue

There were only 2-3 guys really giving a try to this method. Others were all losers spending my and their time talking bs.

Yesterday one of them asked many times for a guarantee that this method would bring him traffic and money. When I said that I could not guarantee anything, this was the shitty answer I got from that jerk:

I can't imagine people have this type of stupid attitude. So my friends:

- I have made money using this method (and still making)
- This method takes time to impement

The more I hear things like that, the more I become hostile to noobs, unfortunately. Great method, out of the box thinking.. but you know what edge? I think its a little too complicated for some people.. after all, flipping burgers is much easier. Hope you told those pussies to fuck off..

Of course you can't use this blog to apply for adsense. You should setup one giving information and having 10-20 really quality (I am repeating it again: QUALITY or Q-U-A-L-I-T-Y) articles.

Alright guys after 10 days of being indexed by Google, I've now thrown up Adsense on my site which followed this guide exactly. On the first day of Adsense it seems I have gotten two clicks for $.27. Really not bad for a simple copy + paste job, and also considering I only have about 30 articles up at the moment (and another 90+ queued).

Edgematch was really helpful when I had a question on Skype, which was great .

At the moment I'm getting about 100 UV/day, how is everyone else doing?

So good to hear these real life stories lol. I am glad that this method works for you both. Those numbers are not low. They will get higher by time. Both of you +repped for your efforts.

Actually, having 5-10 blogs will help much. I know it takes time but they all together (or maybe one of them) can offer a decent revenue. Always go for the stuff that women like to talk/have/buy.
