Is copied content with link back legal?

Hi all, I intent to create autoblog by using yahoo answer resources. I'll copy yahoo question to my blog and link back to their answer. I wonder is it legal? And can I place adsense on that kind of blog?

It will push "back" your "link" from 1st page to 1000th page on google.

I dont care about ranking decreased because I have SEO technique for this issue. I just wonder's it safe for my adsense and is it legal? I read somewhere on the internet that I can be sued for copied content with linkback :|

It is written in terms of service that yahoo doesn't take responsibility for content created by the users. But if you assume that you copied some user-created content that violates third party's copyright laws, then I guess that would be illegal. Confusing stuff. You might try it but you'd have to check everything you copy.

It's likely legal, but what if the one you copied is also copied from another source. You'll probably have a bad time.

Not so, they're both user generated.

Using 'extracts' with a link back to the full item is OK - fully quoting the whole thing is risky. As has been said, it's very, very unlikely you would be pursued, but it's still content copying.

Nobody really know about the effect of this. However, if you are a risk taker and would want to see how it goes, then go for it. If you want to be on the safer side and then don't go for it. If you are in doubt of what you are going to do it means no, don't do it.

I think yahoo would not come after you unless your blog takes great traffic and you are earning huge amount from it.

Copying other people's original work regardless how you do it is breach of coyright unless you have the author's express permission to do so and or unless you are quoting them. If quoting, make sure you do quote them with a link to the source.

if you just copied the part of the article and give a link back to the source site then i assume its legal
but it wont gain you any ranking because copied content is very less likely to get any ranking in google
