I tried to get an ad approved and it got denied right away. Well I noticed I was missing a period so I fixed it and reapplied. Denied. So I completely changed the content of the site and the wording (both diet related) and it got denied too. did that url get blacklisted? Should I just make a new suburl?

Yes, Facebook can flag a domain quickly. If the same URL keeps getting denied, it may be flagged in their system.
Try testing with a new sub-URL or different domain, and make sure the landing page follows all policies.

probably, there are a lot of pre-steps you can do to avoid the rejection from FB. Using cloak for your landing page is one of the most affective way

No, not just with one ad. But when you post multiple times, then the chances are high!

No, Facebook won't blacklist your site for just one bad ad. However, running ads that violate Facebook's policies can result in penalties, including disabling your ad account or even limiting your site's visibility on the platform.

Trying a new subdomain or fresh URL could help bypass the blacklist.

I think maybe the account is not compatible, my customer had the same problem as you and I fixed it.

The diet field is a sensitive field, not just about commas, you should review your content to see if it violates any taboos.

Yes, Facebook can flag or “soft blacklist” a URL after repeated disapproved ads — especially in sensitive niches like diet. Even small violations can affect domain trust.
If you’ve already tried clean content and still get instant denials, it’s likely the root domain or specific path is flagged.
✅ Quick solution:
-Use a new subfolder or subdomain (e.g., yourdomain.com/v2 or go.yourdomain.com)
-Make sure the content is compliant and loads fast
-Warm it up with a clean ad (non-sensitive angle)
Avoid retrying the same URL multiple times — it builds a negative history fast.

To avoid rejection from Facebook, consider several pre-steps, including using cloaking for your landing page, which is highly effective.

Your URL may have been blacklisted, advertising platforms are very strict with health related content these days.

What product are you advertising? You can research and consider using cloaking, it will help limit the number of ads being rejected.

It’s highly likely that your original URL has been flagged or temporarily blacklisted by Facebook (soft blacklist). If your ad was rejected instantly—even after completely changing the content—this is a strong indication that Facebook has marked the URL as risky or previously in violation of their policies.

Signs that the URL has been flagged:

  • The ad is rejected immediately, without going through a detailed review.
  • Even after changing the content of the landing page or the language used, the ad is still rejected.
  • Using the same URL in other ad creatives also results in rejection.
This suggests that Facebook is no longer evaluating just the ad content but is taking the URL's negative history into account.

However, chances of successfully overturning a blacklist are quite low, especially if the URL has a history of repeated violations.

It really does sound like the root URL has built a negative history at this point. Have you tried running the same campaign with a completely fresh subdomain or even a clean domain just to test? Sometimes even a well-warmed, compliant landing on a new path works better. Curious if anyone here managed to successfully recover a flagged domain.

Facebook doesn’t usually blacklist URLs just from one denied ad. However, if the same URL keeps getting denied, it could be flagged in their system.

It's possible that your content violates FB's policies. Diets often involve before/after photos which are easily rejected by FB.

Have you tried covering the website with a white link? Maybe your video or link is in serious violation. Try changing it in another way.

How many times have you been rejected? Check the reason for rejection. I think if it's just once, it's okay. If it's multiple times, you might be blacklisted.

Yes, it’s likely that the URL or domain is flagged—especially in the diet niche, which is heavily monitored.
-You can try:
Testing a new sub-URL with clean, compliant content
Ensuring the landing page meets Meta’s policies (no misleading claims)
Verifying the domain in Business Manager
Avoid repeatedly resubmitting rejected URLs—this can worsen domain trust.
