Long story short, I bought a new domain, set the DNS servers to one site, tried to change them but it won't change. I know that there is a 12-24h waiting period but my browser redirects me to some porn site (btw the domain is for an adult site) but a preview by 1pagerank showed how the site was supposed to look like. It's a really messed up situation and I have no clue what I should do.

Should I wait for the 24h waiting period?

If you are on a shared hosting server, this sometimes happens, i can't remember why but i contacted the host directly and they told me the technical jibberish. So try that second.

The first thing you should do is check the site from a differnt ip, and from behind proxy like hidemyass, and also give your pc a restart. The first thing host support will ask if you've done this already, as it could be malware too.

That worked!

I tried it on a different IP and now it redirected me to the correct site. Now I bet I'll be able to fix it

Was it some kind of bug or something? I am not sure. You can try contacting your hosting's support for further assistance.

Turns out ISPs update their DNS every once in a while. Might take a few hours for my ISP to fully update it to the new nameservers.

Ive noticed this as well. Maybe my ISP is not as bad as ive thought then. Can take days if im using their DNS settings so I changed to the openDNS settings an it updates much quicker.

Also "ipconfig /flushdns" at a windows command prompt is quicker than a reboot.
