Why use UltimateDemon if GSA can do it for you?

Question for anyone with experience.

Why use UltimateDemon if GSA can do the same job? Is there any benefit?

All my articles going into UD are hand spun with a high level of uniqueness....so if I put it in GSA surely its going to be the same? And reading reports on here GSA seems to get more submissions?

Ultimate demon is focused more on web 2.0, which is something that isn't really supported in GSA.

UD is not GSA .. Web 2.0 and building structures are more the way to use it.

I really dislike Guestbooks/Comment Spamming as a technique - because it really is not what a normal
webmaster does.

But then again it depends whether your strategy is Long Term or Short Term -- Short Term I suppose your
just looking for any boost you can get.

Hi,
UD is great for web 2.0 and it's best for tier 1.
GSA is too spamy and is good for tier 2 and 3.
For great success use both.

Great Point! You need different tools for diferent kinds of backlinks.

i tried GSA ser in replace to senuke in T1 it was easy and quick but in web 2.0 senuke create only contextual blog links but gsa ser even tough create blogs but it created more profile and one sentence links so i finally ended up with senuke for T1 and GSA for t2 and t3

Lol Rankwyz is amazing for T1, USE GSA for T2, T3 Comments and any other spam. Rankwyz because they post up to 5 times a day per blog

GSA is a great tool, however, the biggest of several differences it has over us is that it does not support custom coded sites as ud does. There are well over 100 sites with sign up and submit scripts that the devs update where each individual site requires its own script. Tumblr, blogger, soup, delicious, Wordpress.com and many others. It also does a lot of other stuff that GSA doesn't . GSA is, however, perhaps the best tiered link maker after xrumer. I have both running constantly and in most niches they aren't really interchangeable. Having said that I have ranked some sites in local - small markets with GSA alone

What are you guys talking about? UD has 50 of those custom coded web 2.0 sites out the box and only 8 are d0f0ll0w. Are you telling me this is what you're using for Tier 1? lol

As far as the self add web 2.0 platforms which are jcow, dolphin, elgg, and phpizabi.... GSA can do those with no problem.

Now to be fair to GSA, I could also say GSA does a lot of other stuff UD can't. And when I say a lot, I mean a lot. GSA does support a reasonably healthy number of custom coded web 2.0 sites, albeit having success rates not as good as UD. Whilst being a no-follow non-believer, that topic is up for debate, so the majority of no-follow web 2.0s in UD shouldn't be a caveat to some people.

All that's needed for a great first tier are sites that allow content, have a static URL (for subsequent tiered links)and have decent Page rank (and mostly - but definitely NOT exclusivley d0follow)
Not that D0follow matters much (if at all) for anything other than accumulation and distribution of Page rank. It has precious little to do with SERP's in the past 8 months

19th July 2012 - the day of the 2nd un-natural links warning (the one that was followed by the semi retraction almost immediately)
That was the day they turned on the "Are you gaming Page rank" aspect of their over op snooper
Then turned it down a lot. It was a funny day all in all. Big business sites who interlink and have been around for years were built before "rel = n0follow" was even invented, and they were being demoted. Donald Trump's old money advice site, Bloomberg (Bloomberg FFS) and other sites temporarily slipped way down for their key search terms...these were the BIG boys - and they slipped PRECISELY BECAUSE TOO MANY OF THEIR INBOUNDS WERE D0follow.
Too many d0follow - not natural...

The follow attribute was designed just to be a tool to calculate and distribute PR and nothing to do with SERPs. Since overop, sites with an un-natural amount of d0follow links have been hit as hard as most - and the number of links with d0follow that would natural is decreasing all the time as more and more sites turn on the "n0follow" attribute.

Not denying that exlusive follow links used to be great - the best - as recently as 8 months ago.

So did just using 1 keyword exclusively for anchor text,
So did hammering the same platform type for all your links
So did posting the exact same content on every site

Not natural. All had an affect on many guys ranking (though not as much as some scaremongers make out). = d0follow is exactly the same - and we are talking about an attribute that was never designed to directly affect SERPs in the first place!

This talk about "WEB20" as a first tier exclusive and "D0follow links" exlusive is so 2012..early 2012 at that
Variation and natural linking is the key. Having a first tier that is exclusive ANYTHING all the same link type, same anchor text, same platform, same attributes, same surrounding content... it's all a red flag to Google. 60-40 D0follow is what I use now, and iot works a charm, but I'm aware that as more and more sites turn on the "rel - n0follow" attribute, I might have to adjust that downwards to stay natural.

I have ranked HIGH competition sites with GSA alone, if you can use it correctly its far more powerful than any other link building software.

I can't believe anyone would say that the only links you want to build are Do-Follow
that just astounds me.....Seo is about building a total Profile - not just one type.

as some ppl said both different and better to use both ... but if you don't have budget of course go with GSA
first also you can try monthly UD subscription before buying the lifetime .

Hi guys Thanks for the replies on this and very informed comments.

The way I see it, ok yes you can pump your custom urls into ultimate demon and you have more control over its speed of submission, but gsa DOES have the option of Web2.0 submission contrary what is said earlier, and as it seemingly has a much higher success rate on submissions, if you are spending a good amount of time/money on using spun articles which can produce 70% plus uniqueness over 500 copies, then is it really worth getting UD?

To be honest I am quite fresh so have not checked how much input I can put into gsa as I have been using UD for tier 1...If you are proactive on daily scrapes from SB and you cannot drop these into GDa then maybe that's where the difference lies?
