As my previous threads said, me and my friend's eBay and PayPal has been limited. I recently came across TOR browser, apparently it changes your IP address every time you go on a website.

It would be interesting for those whose eBay and PP accounts have been limited. You can thus create new accounts from the same PC, without eBay and PP tracking your IP, I am guessing?

Anyone using TOR please advise.

Thank you.

TOR is mainly used to access websites that do not get indexed at all by search engines. It is also highly used for selling/buying drugs....and sharing illegal porn such as CP. As far as using the browser for your daily routine, I have no idea.

I don't think it will work.
Why?

1. They probably check if your IP match with the country you used to register(they won't limit you immediately but it will be the first red flag).
2. TOR changes your IP every time you ask for new identity or when you close it and start it again. So you'll login through different IP almost every time.
3. And if you are doing something suspicious they'll surely check your account and in the most of cases you'll be limited again.

CP? Can you explain please?

Thank you. How about VPN? Virtual Private Networks? Any good ones to suggest?

tor and hide ip services will give you an instant ban from ebay and paypal

I personally find the Tor browser an effective way to change my IP address instantly. eBay definitely does not mind the browser or the proxies itself, yet you may have to clear the browser cache or run it in private browsing. So far I've used Tor for making eBay accounts many times and never had a problem. Though I stopped it since my modem changes IP almost instantly and don't have to compromise on my net speed either.
If IP is the only thing bothering you, Tor Browser does the job!

SKYWARD.. how your modem change your ip instantly? can you explain how you do that?

Oh that is easy. Got to google check your IP address. If you have an ADSL router, login into the modem and try searching for Mac spoofing. Turn it on, enter any random MAC address, save and restart your router. Check your IP address again. If your Internet doesn't work, login into the modem, disable MAC spoofing, save, restart modem.
This trick always works.
As OP said change the MAC address of the first device your Internet wire connects to and your IP will change.

Read Tim's guide on BHW, it explains:
"a. Use proxies, HMA, TOR, or any of those "IP hiding softwares". eBay and PayPal have blacklisted these IPs'. If you use them, you will get banned, simple as that. "

Thanks. I think its better just to buy an eBay and PayPal account. Anyone ever did?

There is legitimate sellers out there for eBay accounts, but you will still need to have a reliable connection that is not blacklisted by eBay or Paypal.

Its true, I heard that TOR software is used mainly for child pornography and online drug dealing. It makes the users untraceable. As for eBay and PayPal, I concluded that it is not safe to use TOR.
