I'm so proud of my mom, i think I'm tearing up :') It's her first day doing IM, so I started her off with a simple method on BHW. After 6 hours of work, she made her first $5 online.

She's doing Postloop btw.

Oh waow... I wish i would also accepted by PL

She wrote 4-5 sentences each post and checked her grammer. Took about an hour to write the 10 posts and she got a 4.2 rating. Just take your time and you should be accepted.

wow :") teach her PPD she will earn more :) thanks for motivation

I was thinking SEO next, but I'm thinking of the learning curve needed for it. Might just take on PPD next after she gets money for hosting/domain from postloop. Anyways, glad this motivated you in some way :)

Fiverr would be another best option for her. Nice motivation btw

Thanks

Good job! I was on the same boat once, and by that, I meant $1/day. I kept at it, and now, I'm close to getting my first $60 day ($30-$40/day average)! I wish your mom the best of luck!

unless she wants to work for almost no pay, postloop is useless... Try teaching her to do something that will help earn in the future as well as now like setting up a website, or making youtube videos.

Something she may be interested in us using youtube creative commons to make videos, and earning off ads.

I wouldn't say it is useless. It may not be on the level of other methods, but it is still $$ (maybe only one $). It can fund some of the costs associated with IM, and it is EASy! Congrats to your mom! It will probably build her confidence that there is money to be made, it is a small tip of the iceberg.

Seeing the progress, I think she is good in writing.
Why don't you show her the article writing business :)

You gotta start somewhere, and PL is good for a first introduction to IM. When I first started I never knew a world like buying selling post, likes, views, ratings, articles ever existed. Kinda eye opening. It leads to other avenues....

Man I love seeing this shit. Huge props to your mom for taking initiative and learning this online stuff. She's in the top .001% of females let alone moms (who I assume she's older than 40?).

Seriously impressed.

I completely agree with you on this one. I'm just starting her off with something easy, so she could get motivated and know what it is to work 14-16 hours a day on other projects. This is completely boring, tedious work, but if she sticks with it, it should improve her work ethic.

She types slow, that's why it took her 6 hours to write about 70 posts haha. I'll probably teach her SEO first, so she knows how to write good SEO optimized articles for others, then have her do some offline work.

Yeah she's 46 and very new to the computer world.

Update

Woke up this morning and saw that she got her first rating of...5.0! She's now at 4.6 and making half a point extra on every post.

That should be enough motivation for you to get off your ass, and start working. :)

Make her open a Content writing gig on Fiverr.
She will be getting more $$

She needs to learn how to write SEO content first and increase her typing speed. (I have a few ideas in mind) I'll start teaching her SEO next weekish when she gets enough money from postloop. (about $20)

Wow!!! Congrats to your mom!!! Great to see someone, especially new to computers, taking initiative. Very motivating!!!

I'm very glad to hear that. I was thinking to involve my dad to do some eBay, but still planning it.
Thanks.

I'm turning my dad into a eBay manager by the end of this year, he has 40 years experience in engineering and I'm going to turn his work ethic into an amazing atore manager on eBay .

+1 for gettin your mum involved in IM!
