Hello. I am struggling to place a website on a very competitive keyword. When hit upon google the keyword generates approximatively 2.380.000 results, which is a whole lot! But not giving up until #1!!! So lately I have made variants of three articles and started posted the articles and the spins on web/20 sites. All fine until here , but the articles were approves by large sites like squidoo, hubpages or wordpress like 2 weeks ago, or even more than two weeks. But until this day, although backlink count has been constantly rising in ahrefs, when i search the domains where ahrefs find blacklinks to the site, the web 2.0 's don't appear. So ... what gives??? Why is this happening? Any info is much appreciated !
(I should say that at this point the website is hovering at arround positions 19-21 in the SERPs for that keyword, where it is at those position for two weeks now. When I started the website was at about 45-50. So it's an increase overall, but lately i haven't seen any improvement).

Yeah I also have to agree with thinktank1, my web 2.0's don't show up on Ahrefs. I manually built 10 to a YT video and ran them through indexing services and it still shows that the YT video has zero backlinks, while another YT video has over 1k backlinks from GSA. I don't know if it's Ahrefs or Web 2.0s but it's kind of annoying.

I noticed that web 2.0 run through xindexer appear in ahrefs in few weeks. Others with only social bookmark links although indexed in Google still don't appear in ahrefs.
Might be the fact that web 2.0 from xindexer get contextual links on their own maybe?

I've seen ahref's analysis with Web 2.0 sites showing up. It may just not have made it into their index yet. Give it some more time, but keep building more web 2.0s and other backlinks. As long as they are getting indexed by Google, you're on the right track.

Guys thnks for your answers.
There's also another thing that's bugging me. I am trying to rank this website on a local google , the site being in that language and the keyword as well. The articles I have written are in english, and I'm posting them to international sites not local ones. In those articles i have inckudes links to the website using the keyword (in the local language) as anchor text. Is this ok? Or should I only write articles in the same language as the website? The articles are written on the english translation of the keyword, so they are about the same domain as the website

And if the 2.0's don't apprar in sites like ahrefs, how do I know if google is counting them as backlinks to my website?

i guess if google index the content, he find the link too, idk if he count it toward moneysite.
