Do you guys recommend I spin my tweets that I've scraped from user users before I start tweeting them as my own? Can I get banned for this?? Please help tried finding some info on this but no luck...

You can get suspended for using someone elses tweets if someone files a report about it.

Whose tweets are these? What kind of people are they? Are they celebrities or popular people? And do the tweets include quotes or sayings by famous people?

The answer lies within the above questions. If those are quotes and sayings, you can actually use those tweets since a million other people must be using them as well and no one has copyright over them but if those are personal messages by some famous celebs or politicians, you must not exactly copy and paste them especially all of them from the same person.

Thanks... so that being said. What is the general consensus? Do IM take the time to "spin" just in case. Do you know if filing reports is a common issue regarding to copying tweets?

I run a joke account and joke's that my friends or I have made have regularly been copied and even after filing a complaint against the account nothing ever happened I guess there's no way of proving they didn't come up with it also.

Basically I don't think you'll get into too much trouble but definitely mix the tweets up or it will be obvious.

Tweets would be copied from facts, health tips, parody, etc...

If those are general facts and tips, it wouldn't really harm enough. But if those are unique and from a really popular company/person, posting them after rewriting them in your own words would be preferred.

Ok thanks guys... you've saved me hours upon hours editing & rewriting :D

I was also thinking the same question. So I hope posting general things, jokes, etc won't be objectionable. Thanks for posting the query.
