Hi fellows,

I have made a quick search on ebay and there are lots of knifes selling with very good prices. I sold one from my country too :). Then I was thinking in big for this market. But smth stopped me. Then I entered on ebay regulations:

Please search on google this keyword is it allowed to sell knifes on ebay and click on the first link

It clearly says that the only ones allowed to sell are US residents and some brands of knifes only in US.

My question is simple how does ebay allows all that market of knifes when it clearly says that it prohibits it. Also i found sellers with good feedback selling from long time 1-2 years and located not in US

Am I safe to put again a listing of knife on ebay. I live outside the states.

Any suggestions or ideas on the subject would be very much appreciated.

Best wishes,

Boxhi

Ebay also prohibits people from selling social network services but people do it anyways (myself included). If ebay has a problem with the knife your selling then all they will do is remove the listing (not a big deal).

Well maybe for you is not a big deal but for me yes!

Right friend. But we are talking regarding ebay.....

Not all the time they only remove the listing, sometimes also they set your seller compliance to low for 3 months or even more ....

Also, I cannot believe that only people living in the US could sell knifes on eBay, I see a lot of them being sold from other countries

I believe it matters about what types of knifes you are selling. Certain knifes are illegal to own depending on how large.

What about selling AK-47 on eBay? I predict big sales, especially in US market at the moment.

Seriously: You better ask their support team.

If you are really in doubt you could sell them on a stealth account and test this method first.
Personally I have not sold knives on eBay so I would say if its safe or not.

Cheers,

Surely you can find something better to sell than a knife?. Seriously.

I sold knives up until this year on eBay. I quit due to competition and my costs from legitimate suppliers were beginning to be more than the replica knives on eBay were selling for.

I have sold many knives on Ebay

Depends what kind of knives on what site. Some sites do not allow knives of a certain kind or over a certain blade length. Check the rules on the site you want to sell on.
