I just want to tell everyone what just happen with me at Warriorforum. I wanted to branch out a little, see what was going on, on some other forums. So among a few others, warrior forum was one of them. I personally happen gravitate in the direction of email marketing. So i found a few threads and figured id give my two sense. The topic was of this guy who bought a list of emails and wanted advice in mailing them. (***Side note i actually paid to be on warriors forum. i strongly advise against it.)
Everyone on the forum was bashing the guy, telling him how dumb he was an how NO ONE would allow him to mail his own lists. It went on and on everyone else just taking turns agreeing and re-agreeing with them selves. I even noticed one of the moderators was the owner of a company that offers email marketing services.
So i made a comment. Telling the guy to get his own domain + his own hosting. Mail what ever he wants.. Do it him self. I come back the next day and notice my post was gone.. "Strange" i say to my self. Figured maybe i re-freshed the page or idk figure it was on my end. So i re-wrote it and posted again.. Here is what i wrote.
"With all due respect to everyone, it does not really matter what these companies allow or disallow.
The Can Spam Act says you can mail unsolicited up to 30,000 a year. If you have a legitimate company, mail compliant, you should be fine legally speaking(altho i dnt think your allowed to buy lists, not sure tho).
If you want to mail TO ANYONE.. why use Aweber ? or any of these other companies ?
A Domain cost 7$, a hosting account cost around 10 and up.. With the smallest 10$ account you can send out up to 1k an hour. Some companies only allow 250 and hour others like Hawk host allows up to 1k.
DO IT YOUR SELF.. forget these companies. Get your own stuff.. Mail to who you want.
I'm not saying you wont get shut down for getting RBLed(if you do get rbled). But most places will allow up to 2/4 complaints. And they will forward them to you. So as you mail you build your list of ppl who actually complain. REMOVE THOSE ppl.

Breaking the Forum Rules!
Date the ban will be lifted: Never"
I think this is crazy. + Totally wrong and unfair. In all honesty their forum really really sucks anyways.. But now i know why. They censor their posts and here is proof.
I'm going to charge them back the 10$ on my cc.. but really Its not the $ its the point. If any of you were thinking of signing up there i would advise against it. You're not getting the full story.
