Have: Experience, Knowledge, Cash - Want: Ambitious JV Opportunities

Hey Guys,

As many of you know, earlier this year I decided to move on and sold off my main business, which needless to say freed up quite a bit quite a bit of my time.

While I have a few new ventures that I'm starting up on my own, I still have more time and energy left so I thought I'd quickly ask around to see if anybody had any interesting JV ideas.

Long story short, here's what I have:

• Vast experience in nearly all areas of IM, but mostly buying/selling websites (note though that I can't / don't want to get involved in brokerage again), smaller product launches, online gambling, managing tech projects.
• Time to devote to the start-up phase (I'm a firm believer in outsourcing and don't want to get involved in anything that will require full time work by managers past the start-up phase though)

Here's what I don't have:

• SEO knowledge. I've been (successfully) distancing myself from the (off-site) SEO side of things for the duration of my IM career, and I'm proud of it Neither do I want to get involved in projects that rely solely or almost solely on SEO, and most certainly not anything that has to do with SEO services (unless it only involves offline clients and on-site SEO)

And here's what I'm looking for:

• An ambitious partner who thinks outside of the box
• An opportunity that has a massive possible upside / scaling potential. I'm only getting involved in ventures that, when done right, can grow BIG.
• Most of all, a challenge. One of my main reasons for the decision to "move on" was that what I did started becoming somewhat dull and boring, so anything I'm getting involved in now needs to provide a challenge, and therefore be fun to run / build.

I wanted to make one thing clear just quickly - if you're planning to offer me an "investment opportunity" that in reality is a request for a loan then please do not contact me.

While I'm not at all adverse to investing, I'm not a bank or a loan office and as such, I'm not interested in giving out loans. To make myself clear - if your offer is that I'll invest $x in your venture and get back $y (be it guaranteed or not), then that's a loan and I'm not interested. On the other hand, if your offer is that I invest $x in your venture and in return get a z% equity in the venture (i.e. z% of the profit that the venture generates), then that's an investment and I may be interested.

Just wanted to get this out of the way

I've literally had nearly 50 PM's since posting the thread a few days ago so bear with me if I'm a bit slow when it comes to getting back to you all

With that said - I think I've now replied to everybody who has contacted me.

Also wanted to quickly mention that I'll be out of town from Saturday till Tuesday so anybody who will contact me during this time will hear back from me on Tuesday or Wednesday.

If you have a cool idea / project and want to partner up then get in touch now - I'm expecting to close this thread as soon as I'm back as I already have a few very interesting talks going on and there's a limit on how many projects I can take on (unless your project is creating a machine that would put more hours into a day)
