Any decent free web hosts out there?

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum (only just signed up today).

Anyway, I know I am probably asking too much here lol but does anyone know of good hosts that offer free hosting (or at least free for a few months or something)? I have a couple of ideas for some sites but I want to host them somewhere free for now until I know if they are definitely gonna work out for me or not.

In my opinion I would not use free hosting, especially because you are testing
to see if the sites are going to work for you or not. Free hosting is slow and
unreliable. You could have a site on free hosting that would have worked if it
was on paid hosting. People generally stop going back to sites that are slow
and mess up all the time. Some free hosting services don't even let you FTP
into your site. It's just a pain, I don't recommend it.

Yeah I know some free hosts probably won't be as good as paid ones but I just need a host for my testing purposes only really. If what I've got planned doesn't work out, then I won't have had to paid out money for nothing really.

It seems CC info is required.

I would recommend Frihost. They are really good but they only offer Direct Admin though that's nice too.
