Hello guys, i'm new around here but iv been reading a lot past few weeks.I am about to be amazon assos, but i have 1 little dumb question i believe. When i do my keyword research and pick up 10-15 keywords should i include them all in my website meta, or i should just do 1 keyword there.I came across a post that tells me to put 14-15 keywords in meta, and around 4 keywords in each post i am doing. Can someone light this up for me ?Ill appriciate it!

Dont bother putting any keywords into the meta. Thats old SEO.

You shouldn't include them in the meta tags at all, as I know Google doesn't care about meta keyword tag. :)

So... once again My whole life was a lie :D Now seriously m0resleep iv been reading few of your posts and i find them very usefull.Do you have 2 minutes to spare with me ? If so contact me on : soulflames7099 / skype. Thanks in advance mate!

bing and yahoo still look at meta tags so it might be worth it to put them all in there, it won't hurt your rankings in google so you have nothing to lose

Okay,so when we exclude the keywords in meta how should i rank it then , simply by making posts and they keywords in the posts?

yes and with off page seo, building backlinks to the site and posts using the keywords as the anchor text

Thanks to all of you guys, you have been very helpful to me!
Wish you all the best.

You need to find the correct anchor for your niche for your post/post-type, the correct linking format to create the right call to action, posting at a steadily increasing rate, finding ways to use your keyword in the content without it being part of the content, and figure out which backlinks should be directed to each page (plus which anchor text has the best results when it's off-page)

yeah...simply

I'm actually glad you asked this! I find a few conflicting reports too so this thread cleared some things up for me. Thanks!
