And we'll be discussing the benefits of SEO next month. I'm excited :) He was setting up a time to come back and pour gravel for our driveway, and we got onto the subject of websites and how he's looking into new avenues of marketing. The next day, I got business cards printed and through up a shitty website. Then in between giving him my card the day after and him seeing my website, I redid it nicely. I only charged $500, and I'm semi kicking myself because I could have probably gotten away with at least twice that, but oh well; no biggie. I've got a list of 600 potential clients to go through now that I've been putting off for far too long, and this has provided the spark to run through it.

I'm posting this here both because I'm excited and whenever I see a post like this, some of the motivation seems contagious. So, hopefully I've given you all some strange disease that'll get you off your butts. If you're a procrastinator like me, then you know how much work you can get done when you finally get to it.

I concur, as I procrastinate by reading more similar posts..... ;)

Great job and keep it up. I was at $1500 a month passive here a few months ago and I've been licking my wounds long enough. I appreciate the go get em.

nice, good luck with that list, keep us posted

Will do!

So far, I picked out 8 easy sale targets for online reputation management. I'm thinking that'll be an easier sale than websites alone, and it's residual, but I need to show that I already have clients and money to spend. So, I'll become a coffee fiend website salesman until I evolve into a coffee fiend website salesman with a decent car to pull up in for a polite presentation of how terrible they look on google/yelp/etc. I'll be looking through a bunch of websites of businesses in the list next so I can fill more of my time with clients and meetings. It turns out I've met one of the business owners on my list. So I can probably make at least one more sale by the end of this week. I'm working on churning out a few websites to show as examples and some more content for my main consulting site. I feel like some kind of unnaturally productive stoner. And I've got a blog design sold for $300 now too :) again, one reason for the low price is to ensure a sale and get a few quick sites up. I'm either going to be making paid websites or unpaid websites over the next few days so I have something to show new customers and increase my conversions.

Congratulations, keep working on that list. My partners and I are in a similar situation, going through a list of potential clients to sell our services too. Threads like this can keep you motivated.
