Amazon Affiliate Page - Outranking Big, non-optimized pages

Hey there,

I'm working on my first amazon review page to harvest startup-money.

It's going to be a blog around a product with ~3000 searches a month in the 50$-price range.

As far as i can see there is no page optimized for this, well, it's a real niche-product i just found randomly. The Math-Side says it's worth getting into the niche, well, we will see.

Doing the MS competition check (or google ) i see no obviously optimized page in the top10.

But there are (ultra)high-authority pages with domain-age 10+ having seperate articles about that kind of product.

I guess this is a common problem around niche-marketing, but i didnt find a thread around this.

How can i get an idea if the KW is still rankable? The pages are not optimized, but high authority, so where could be my place?

I believe the if the product niche pages/sub pages are coming on google top 10, so that means there is low or medium level competition, so i hope if you do proper on page and off page optimization, you will definitely get your site rank for low or medium level competitive keyword.
