To link directly to a CPA offer from Adwords I use Covert Affiliate Links script. A simple redirect script does not work for me. Big G wants me to have my landing page URL (destination URL) the same as the display URL and CAL does it.

Can you tell me about the direct linking? How are they doing this without having a landing page?

I would really like to know this without making a landing page, they say it's possible, can someone explain what the technique is?


It can't just be redirecting can it?

In anwsering your original question, you may want to try Marchex and clickriver, they dont convert and bring in as much traffic as adwords but they are still pretty good **[FONT=&quot][/FONT]

Kubel - Do you have any problem using CAL with CPA networks as it seems that this software changes the original url of the CPA offer page?

Do you also know if if there is any way to blank/hide the referer when using CAL so the CPA networks cannot see where your traffic is coming from?

That's the entire point- to change the URL of the destination page. I don't think the CPA companies give a shit about that (as long as it's allowable anyway)

You can't blank the referer with CAL, as far as I know.

dhsstudent you may want to revise your ad copy. The title and adbody are extremely important for CTR. Adwords is only ineffective when the keywords are too competitive and/or the ads competing for those keywords are overly repetitive.
