They used to be, but now aren't. The latest posts of mine aren't indexed. This is robots.txt from livejournal:

[Future]

From my experience, some of those sites allow indexing after a specific length of time, say a month or so. Seems quite a few are starting to do this now.

Just make sure your content is good enough to last a month at least

http://www.vmoptions.com/web-2-0-sites-list.php has the do follow marked with a few marked wrong. They posted a Yahoo blog web 2.0 link and for the life of me I could not get it to work. Then I realized you had to actually be logged into a Yahoo account before signing up for their blog beta. A duh moment I guess. lol

I have a livejournal blog and it's indexed. I guess it depends on how often the blog is updated. I updated mine always with tweets and FB posts apart from normal blog posts.
