any ideas on how to promote the website = get sales?

write a few articles on web 2.0 with links
adwords
twitter trends
facebook relevant pages
facebook ads
buysell ads
relevant forum posts
yahoo answers

I don't want to cut your wings but I wasn't too happy about the results with Magento even if I am having a pretty cool results with AMAZON. You can try usual backlinking techniques, there are many threads about this on BHW.

Magento Sites are not worth the time and trouble - I'd get a refund if possible now and save yourself the heartache.

What you will find is you will make a few initial sales - then they just won't sell anymore.

Danny1111 do you recommend any other way to make money with eCommerce?
Amazon store are very interesting for some of the markets I have, since we get free shipping... I was really thinking of getting me a couple of them :/ But I guess I will rather wait for your feed back
